Treks begin from Mcleodganj and it takes one full day from here to reach the Kareri village. The trek from the village to Kareri Lake takes around 6 hours and goes through forests of oak, rhododendron and pine after which there is a steep ascent as well. Chandra Tal Trek

The trek begins from Manali which is in the Kullu valley. A short distance away lies the Chandra river and trekkers will enjoy passing by green meadows and small shepherd huts. After this green stretch, there are also two ravines and a stream which need to be crossed in order to reach the Chandra Tal. Besides exploring the Samundari glacier, the valley is simply beautiful and filled with edelweiss, buttercups and forget-me-nots. Beyond the lake, one can spot snow-capped peaks as well. June to mid October is the best time to go Himachal Trekking.

Bias Kund Trek

This easy trek is best undertaken between April- November. This trek also begins from Manali which is famous for the Hadimba Devi temple and a Tibetan monastery. The highlight of this trek is passing through the Solang Valley which is around 15 kms from Manali and which is famous for its skiing slopes.
